I've added a new feature for division icons. If you have Icon View enabled, go look at a Sonic 3 or Sonic & Knuckles chart. Instead of saying "Sonic", "Tails", or "Knuckles", it will show icons representing the various characters.
Question: Should the division icon view be a separate option from title screen icon view?
Also, comments / suggestions?

Iconified rankings list is awesome. This is like what the site needed most, a nicer rankings list. My previous idea consisted of separating the games into 3 different categories, which has somewhat been done, but this is even better, and very visual.
Although I'd really prefer the original Sonic Adventure title screen.

:o How'd you get a screenshot of the SA1 title screen? (It doesn't look like a video capture.) I'll replace the SADX title screen when I get home.

From a neat emulator called nullDC.
I was thinking of doing the same for SA2, but I just remembered I don't have a SA2 rip anymore.

how do i enabled icon view?

User settings > Display > Check little box that enables icon view.
Then click the rankings option that's to the left.

Title screen for SA(DX) replaced with the SA1 title screen.

I noticed the S3DB one, I'll have to check out the S1 and S2.
EDIT: You should input SA and SA2 life icons for the characters next. How do I get the title screen things?

SA2 rankings aren't done by character, so life icons there are useless (and in any case, the stage select character icons would be a better choice). The "1st/2nd/3rd/4th/Last" mission headings above the rank icons on stage select would be useful instead.

As long as you have Advance icons for Advance games

That's awesome. How about using them for other games too, games such as Sonic Heroes, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Sonic Adventure DX, and more?

If you ever get to it, use the SAdva1/2/3 life icons for their respective characters. For Sonic Adventure, use the life icons as well. For SA2, use SM's suggestion and use the 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/Last icons.
For Shadow the Hedgehog, maybe use a small Sonic head for Hero, and a small Doom's Eye sprite for Dark...? Maybe use Shadow for Normal.

How would the boss divisions for Shadow work for Pure Dark and Pure Hero using what you said?

Woot! Thanks Gerbil, I've been looking forward to that! No offense or anything, but before you get into the Game Gear games (Chaos, Triple Trouble), you should probably work on SAdva3 and Sonic Adventure 1 & 2. I'm not trying to tell you how to run the division icon business, I'm just recommending that you add the more-played games first. Also, work on Sonic Battle. I've seen a lot of submissions in that lately. If you're going to do Sonic Heroes, then you should use a Sonic head for Team Sonic, Shadow's head for Team Dark, Amy's for Team Rose, and Espio's for Team Chaotix. I dunno what you'd do for Extra. I really like this division icon project, and I hope it expands to all of the games.
EDIT: I got an idea. For Times on all games, use a small stopwatch sprite. For Rings on all games, use a Ring sprite from Sonic 1. For Scores, use the word "SCORE" icon from Sonic 1.
