I don't know if this has been done before, but I just thought of it and it sounded like fun. From now and up till 31st December 2009 you have to make predictions of either yourself or other TSCers. This can be about competing (such as somebody taking the championship of a game) or some sort of shenanigan (I haven't been here long enough to hear any of those >_>) On the 1st January I will print this topic off and put it somewhere in my room so that I don't forget about it. Then I will revive the topic in december 2010 to see who was right. Now remember it's just a bit fun so please don't spoil it and predict nasty things ok :(

I predict that about half of the remaining members come out as furries next ... notable names including RPG, mike, SonicAD, and - of course - PPA./me brick'd
I also vote that, when it comes out, there will be a halfhearted attempt by a small group to get ASR charts added, a prospect that will be handed a general NO U by the populace.
And I predict that there will be two typical "you guys are jerks im leaving forever" moments in January alone.

Sonic Team will re-release the GeneDrive games at least three more times. They'll also announce a new Sonic game that claims to be a return to their roots, and at least one noob here will believe it.
RPG will be institutionalised, and there will be much rejoicing.
I will return to competition to try to finally break into the Sitewide top ten. I will fail miserably and give up within a month.
Contrary to prior scientific analysis, when Mike and I meet the amount of concentrated awesome will not, in fact, end the world. This is because CF will also be there and his anti-awesome is considerable.

I want to be among the top 10 in SA2B, (this includes getting the TOP 10 in times and scores) and also soon compete in Shadow the Hedgehog and Sonic Heroes and return to compete in SADX! well that's all for now. and next year will try to get a Nintendo Wii or 360 and also an excellent DVD Recorder to be able to record my videos.

My goal and prediction for next year is to get in the orange for SA2 Times - around 20th would be killer. Also, to find a way (through Action Replay or really great guessing/patience) to navigate Cosmic Wall m1's optimal route. We'll see how that goes.

I'll take Rivals 2 back at some point next year. Plus there's SRA's Championship that I have to finally claim. I'll also have over 2000 submissions by next year's end. And lastly: Top 15 sitewides.

- AD to go through more than 11 boxes of tissues and two jumbo tubs of ointment during the Winter Olympics
- Andy Richter will leave The Tonight Show
- RPG will reference penises 20 or more times in the chat room, and sometimes we'll laugh.
- The Crows will finish 3rd on the ladder and at least contest a preliminary final. Taylor Walker to kick 60+ goals for the season.
- England to get knocked out at the group stage of the 2010 WC
- mike89 and Flying Fox to finally tie the knot; mike's early morning jogs around campus to impress women will cease. In an expression of glee, FF will go on a delirious napkin raid across the Clapham district.
- Horror movie remakes will continue. Child's Play, Poltergeist and Jaws all to get the treatment.
- flyby will send us all cake and other nice food in the mail.
- Sega will bring back Streets of Rage.
- Asians will continue to be infatuated with Michael Bublé. "I haven't met you yet" will replace "Hello, I don't speak the English" as the lone English phrase known to Vietnamese adolescents.

:O prediction thread? I planned to take back 100% in SatBK next year but already did, and I still need to improve my records which I have been putting off for months. I want to start competing in SatSR but I would have to buy the game again. I want to rule all Day stages in Unleashed Wii again. I'm so close to getting Spagonia, so close ._. I want to have the most videos submitted to the site. And finally, I need to go in the chatroom since I always wanted to go in it but never did XD

Goals:
1. Actually start going back to TSC. My Baten Kaitos run should be done within the next few months, so back to TSC for me.
2. Sub 10 in SatSR....I'm two points away, but those two points refuse to budge. I'd say 0p, but that just isn't feasible with some of the times I'd have to beat *cough Erazor Djinn Alf Layla NP2*
3. SSR or SBK speedrun for SDA...I'm no good at SBK right now, but it seems like a much easier game to run for single segment.
4. All SBK chain records...I want to say I have all chain records on the site :D
5. Retake SRA score leadership, maybe ring leadership...scores should be easy, rings probably won't be.
6. Improve times in random other divisions - SA2B, SADX, SUWii, SBK; all of these could get some improvement.
7. Do something involving rings, not sure what.

2) I'm going to try and get 500 records >_<
3) Try and be a bit more active in TSC both chat and the forums

4) Get red in S1
5) Get a Mega CD to enter the Sonic CD competition.
6) Try to go to Rio de Janeiro and find Cort_pso and Brian_pso (Se eu for aí, mano Vítor, Nós faremos aquela luta de capoeira X kung fu !!! Vou treinar bastante!!!!)

Once again make your predictions for 2011. This can be either competing, shenanigans or outside of TSC. I checked my last post and yes I got all my predictions right. These are my new ones:
1) No way I will make it to orange in sitewide by the end of 2011 so I shall try and get to the top 25.
2) Try to take another award (damn should’ve waited on S4 rings >_>).
3) Try to get 750 records.
4) Finish my studying.
5) Sort out the house for my mum.

Site predictions? Probably run 10-20 more records and a few "new discovery" runs here and there... so essentially lurking and maybe getting a wild hair now and again.
Gaming wise? PSO2 will launch and I'll have the ammunition I need to drag people back to my side of cyberspace. Along with that, I'll have Wizardry: Empire and thus be learning Japanese at a pretty good clip by then. (Hopefully I get into the PSO2 Alpha2, but not holding my breath...)
Life wise? Japanese and other language studies, lots of music stuffs, maybe more graphic art once I get my new computer, too.
I hope to be proficient enough in Japanese by the end of the year to be able to pull words apart and start learning by context instead of having to look every word up. That's my goal as it stands.

Otherwise, though, I'm expecting Ep2, another 3D Sonic game later in the year (multiplatform, including a 3DS version, cross between 2D and 3D like we've been getting lately, this time though it'll be ... a straight-up time travel plot, with stages such as prehistoria, ancient temple, medieval, wild west, etc) and probably another spinoff (fingers crossed for an actual Mario vs Sonic platformer, but doubtful). Also I might actually resume competing at some point once I get a graphics card that can handle Generations at full speed.

Unfortunately TSC will end in a few weeks along with the end of the world, so ihavent got much to predict, but i do predict that, assuming the world doesnt end even though it will, that I'll be unbanned from tsc in like 3 years lol. XD i also predict Sonic dimensions is not just a rumour and sega actually will bring it out.

Well since this got thread necro'd a couple of weeks early (I usually open this on the beginning of December and thought it was locked) might as well start it. Ok predictions for 2013 go go~

First of all, Sonic Dimensions, as far as I know, is a fan-game, and therefore has no affiliations with Sega.
Secondly, predictions for 2013 (off the top of my head):
bertin will get more Site Pts than Thorn and become #2. :O
Combo will get >550 Site Pts.
Gamepro011 will become 5th overall (or better) in Sonic Heroes, and possibly get into the Top 10 Sitewide.
Paraxade will beat Cruizer.
Groudon199 will beat FuzZerd.
Dashjump will get into the Top 15 Sitewide.
SonicandInuyasha will get >400 Site Pts (and hopefully beat SkyLights).
Werey will definitely get into the orange zone Sitewide (and hopefully beat maggot).
danieldude will get >80 Site Pts!
Flying Fox will get >350 Site Pts (and possibly beat SkyL too :O).
RPGnutter will breach the 500 Site Pt mark and, fingers crossed, get into the red zone Sitewide!
darkstarblaze will get >50 Site Pts, maintain 2nd position in SG3DS and get into the Top 15 overall in Sonic06 (she insisted that I make predictions for here lol).
DsS will still be #1 :P
Many of TSC's main members aren't very active in terms of competition anymore, making it slightly harder to make predictions, but I guess by the end of next year we'll see how accurate our predictions are! I look forward to seeing other people's predictions. Also this post was done in a quick rush; I may post some more predictions tomorrow when I have time.
EDIT: Excuse me for the foolish mistake Groudon199; I've now amended the post so it makes sense! (I've also modified some of my other points slightly after further consideration.)

Anyhow, I’ve altered my previous post in this topic, rectifying my thick miscalculation that Groudon199 auspiciously spotted, as well as tweaking some of my previous prophecies. I’ve seen other people posting predictions concerning their objectives and aspirations, so I thought I may as well be trendy and do the same. Here are some personal goals of mine which I hope to have met by the end of next year (several of them unrelated to TSC):
Accrue ≥80 Sitewide points by the end of 2013 (I’m feeling ambitious man!).
Become yellow-ranked (or better!) overall for ≥5 games on the site.
Increase my game total on the site to ≥25 (by submitting stats for four or more games).
Raise my forum post aggregate to ≥250.
Elevate my kick count in the IRC channel to ≥20 :P.
Change my forum avatar at least 5 (more) times (whether I rescale them appropriately or not).
Develop my chess skills. (What more can I say...)
Improve at running, swimming, badminton and table tennis!
Get decent grades in school (and if the present curriculum doesn’t change radically, it shouldn’t be a difficult task).
Get a best time, ranking world class (according to the WSSA), for each of the three official speed stacking competitive sequences (the 3-3-3, the 3-6-3 and the Cycle). Currently I’m not far off...
Find a new gf <_< (*obligatorily joins the club*)
Become a member of The Flat Earth Society
Force a spoonful of unadulterated cinnamon down my throat to gain more popularity on the intarwebs.
Become a brony because everyone else is doing so.
Bake a TSC-themed cake and post a picture of it in the forum when TSC turns 10 years old (and it will, brainless apocalypse advocates!).
tl;dr – I want to get better at stuff. I may add more ambitions to this list later on if anything else happens to spring to mind, but I’m fairly satisfied with it at present.

i just stumbled on this thread whilst being bored lol. Unfortunately TSC will end in a few weeks along with the end of the world, so ihavent got much to predict, but i do predict that, assuming the world doesnt end even though it will, that I'll be unbanned from tsc in like 3 years lol. XD i also predict Sonic dimensions is not just a rumour and sega actually will bring it out.

OK so I was wrong about the apocalypse actually happening (what a surprise!), however I was right about getting unbanned in like 3 years, I just did 2 years early (although secretly I thought, and hoped it would be sooner than 3 years, and it was!). And Sonic dimensions was just a hoax after all.
So I was mentioned a few times about the fact that I'll get into the top 10 sitewide, I reckon i can do that before 2013 is up, might take a couple months longer though.
I'll lay this out in a similar way to Hyper as that seems like a pretty organized way to do it.
Personal (In some ways these are targets as well as predictions):
- Top 5 sitewide (no I'm not crazy), although it's been played down that I can make it crazier things have happened to me on TSC
- Overtake Hyper sitewide, for some reason I feel satisified knwoing I'm ahead of such a good all round played, who's imo of a similar level to me, just that we both excel in different games.
- I will get the Sonic 3 championship
- I will attempt to get the Colours championship, and perhaps for a period have it, however DsS will come back and get it, mainly by filling in ring attacks and improving scores.
- Someone will take the Lost World 3DS championship from me (I suspect Zip will be the challenger), however I will still strive to keep it above 80%
- I'll compete in a Sonic car racing game, either ASRT, SASAR, or Sonic Drift 1/2
- I'll reach 600 records
- I'll get Sonic 1-13 to 80% and Sonic 3D Blast to 80%
- In addition to all games previously mentioned (bar the racing games), I'll get two more games to red overall.
- I'll get back to race nights
Others:
- Don won't get Colours to red before 2014 is up.
- Infersaime will manage to break into the top 50 sitewide
- Colours will get 100 competitors
- HyperSonic will get 500 sitewide points, and maybe squeeze into the top 5 (if I'm not already there:P)
- Flyingfox will finally decide to ring attack Sky High 1 (S2GG) and will take the championship, thus making it back to the top 10
- SDM will return to competition a little
- Someone will be unbanned
I may add some more int time, when they come to mind, but yeah, I'm pretty ambitious :P (I'm probably horribly wonrg on most of them preditions :V)

- I'll get back into Generations HD and Unleashed HD.
- I'd explore more stat possibilities for the Genesis Sonics.

Fill the score charts for Sonic Chaos.
Try to get the ring leadership for Sonic 4: Episode 1.
Try to get the ring leadership in Episode Metal.
Improve my Generations challenge times.
Make my Super Sonic times in Sonic Colors Wii better.
Get the ring leadership for Sonic Unleashed Wii/PS2. (I should have already got this 3 years ago.)
Get at least a yellow rank in The Sonic Unleashed ps3 DLC levels.
(Yeah I really need to post shit for that version of Sonic Unleashed by the way. I have done some Ring attacks for the levels from time to time. I have them down so all I need to do is post it.)
Fill up the Sonic CD 2011 score charts.

I will finally get the Sonic Colors DS scores and times leaderships, along with 95%, and the Bosses leadership in Sonic Rush Adventure.

Don will revive and start playing colors again.
Gerbil will finally give Josh/thekid a 0p score leadership in SUDLC.
FF will build up the motivation to get the S&BK champ back and will do so.
Somebody will start playing Sonic Rivals and Sonic Rivals 2 for once.
I will get red in Sonic Pocket Adventure, and then will challenge SB for the champ but lose.
I might actually get a decent time on a TA that matters in SCWii. (Or maybe a few)

I've only fulfilled one of my predictions for this year so far (submitting Shadow stats), but I still have the intention of fulfilling at least one more by filling out my Heroes chart. Even though I will probably be green.
{Edit: Got another one fulfilled, I got the max rings on Final Chase M5. ("BARELY MADE IT.")}
I only want to make three more predictions for next year: I will finally buy a PS3 and possibly start running 06, Generations and Unleashed depending on whether I like them; I will finally bite the bullet and raise a damn Chao so I can get Green Hill stats for SA2B after playing the game for 5+ years and never so much as hatching one (or playing the kart minigame for that matter); and that I will bite the bullet again, make sure I'm on an empty stomach and then finish the other characters' stories besides Sonic in SADX, just so I can say I've finished the game.

lol I should make predictions/goals too, even though last months have been super busy..
1) I'll get to top 100 sitewide (109th atm, not hard)
2) Also 70p sitewide (52,7p)
3) Get orange on SA2B and Sonic 2006 (both yellow)
4) Get red in SUWII (yellow)
5) Play some more SG3DS, offer Diamond who doesn't stop caring some competition :D Maybe top 3?
6) Run Sonic Rush a bit
7) Start streaming Kappa

edit: Joshua will get a zero point championship in sonic unleashed DLC
another "ban emulator" drama will occur and in the end nothing will actually get done.

Predictions for 2015:
I will not let Yatta die.
I will get back to colours.
I will compete at another game that ISN'T Sonic Colours Wii or SA2B.
I will get the sub 45 in Hero Story.
Other Predictions:
Infersaime will be active in competition and snatch some red games.
Diamond will continue bugging specifically me about colours and other people about any other game.
Otonyshi will have stoned a goat at the end of january 2015. I will make sure of it.
Gamepro will try to get the Sonic Heroes Championship.
Hypersonic7701 will remain a competetive competitor.
RaceNights will happen again, but maybe not as regularly.
Somebody will want to make sonic boom 3ds charts happen.
Heroes will slowly die single segment wise, just like SA2B did.

I guess I'll throw some predictions on the fire too.
- I'll submit to the rest of the SAdva3 charts and get that game red overall.
- I will snatch the Rings leadership for that game. Resistance will come more from the Leadership Disputes board than from other people actually sitting down and trying to match or beat my RAs.
- I will try to become a regular in the TSC community, putting myself out there and making a few friends and enemies in the process.
- But I will undermine these efforts by getting away from the site for extended periods of time, including a hiatus of at least one month.
- DsS will remain first place sitewide. Maybe 2016, HyperSonic.
- All of PsyMar's predictions will come true, even the last one.

My 2015 predictions:
Someone will claim world record in sonic 1 with emulator and be caught cheating instantly
I will finish my sonic advance 1 and 2 IL table
Sonic Boom will be sub-30 minutes

I wish I get all the rings records for Sonic 2 (Genesis) Already done !! Awesome.
I may get back another disk of Sonic Heroes for the PS2 and restart doing numerous RA for this game and so on with Sonic Unleashed.
I might do more RA for Sonic 2 (Game Gear) even if they are hard to do.

I predict that TheKid.130. will keep on hammering Unleashed PS3-360, Hyper will go back to S06 some point next year, and Infer will try to learn S4E2.

My predictions for 2015 are as follows:
1) Hyper will get a 0 point championship on S4EM.
2) I'll drag my S2-13 percentage up to 85%.
3) I'll try to get into a 3D Sonic game and get obliterated.
4) I will get top 150 site-wide.
5) Talon will do something cool.

My predictions: 1) Super start to the year by breaking 3 sa2b records, all on the same level and all on the same day. 2) Get 4th place overall on sa2b maybe 3rd by the end of the year.

5.Get rid of at least 300 AntiRecords.
6.Get in Green Zone in Sonic 4 Episode I, II Metal, Sonic 1 13, Sonic CD 11, Sonic Generations and Sonic Triple Trouble.
7.Buy Rush, Rush Adventure and Colors DS and get to at least Green Zone.
8.Be happy untill someone wrecks all of this.

FocusSight saying Happy New Year 11 hours early reminded me that I'm running out of time to post this.
Added some notes to last year's predictions:
Personal (In some ways these are targets as well as predictions):
- Top 5 sitewide (no I'm not crazy), although it's been played down that I can make it crazier things have happened to me on TSC 4th (Left it late though!)
- Overtake Hyper sitewide, for some reason I feel satisified knwoing I'm ahead of such a good all round played, who's imo of a similar level to me, just that we both excel in different games. For a period this happened, however he returned fire with his 690 in 69, which regained his lead
- I will get the Sonic 3 championship Was reclaimed by SDM a few times, but I still have it quite comfortably
- I will attempt to get the Colours championship, and perhaps for a period have it, however DsS will come back and get it, mainly by filling in ring attacks and improving scores.Still haven't finished this game yet, and unless I seriously improve my times, this isn't going to happen
- Someone will take the Lost World 3DS championship from me (I suspect Zip will be the challenger), however I will still strive to keep it above 80% Yep, Zip did take it from me, but I didn't bother to keep it at 80%
- I'll compete in a Sonic car racing game, either ASRT, SASAR, or Sonic Drift 1/2 I competed in Drift 1, and got a full chart, and did a little competition in Drift 2, getting 2 records in the process!
- I'll reach 600 records I did reach about 630 records at one point iirc, but have now dropped down to 587, mainly due to Flyingfox taking alot of my S1GBA time records, and S1-13 score records.
- I'll get Sonic 1-13 to 80% and Sonic 3D Blast to 80% Sonic 1-13 was at about 60% at it's highest, and Sonci 3D Blast was comfortably above 80%
- In addition to all games previously mentioned (bar the racing games), I'll get two more games to red overall. I got both Sonic 4 Episode Metal and Sonic 1 GBA to red, as well as taking Sonic %& Knuckles into red, and then to Platinum
- I'll get back to race nights I raced when I could, but they stopped
Others:
- Don won't get Colours to red before 2014 is up. He didn't (57%)
- Infersaime will manage to break into the top 50 sitewide 36th
- Colours will get 100 competitors 103 competitors
- HyperSonic will get 500 sitewide points, and maybe squeeze into the top 5 (if I'm not already there:P) He did a bit more than "just squeeze in", reaching well over 700 site points, and reaching 2nd place
- Flyingfox will finally decide to ring attack Sky High 1 (S2GG) and will take the championship, thus making it back to the top 10 She STILL hasn't done it!
- SDM will return to competition a little He did, reclaiming the Sonci 3 champ a few times, and improving ring stats.
- Someone will be unbanned Nope
2015 predictions
Personal:
-Top 3 sitewide
-700 site points
-650 records
-25 leaderships
-Finish Colours off, and take the Scores leadership, and take colours to 80%
- Reach at least 80% for: Sonic 2 (GG), SG3DS, Sonic Advance
-Compete and get a near full chart for either SADX, SA2B, Heroes or Shadow the Hedgehog
-2300 stats submitted
Others:
-Hyper will reach 850 site points
-FF will do Sky High 2 rings
-Infersaime will get top 20
-An inactive member will return and compete a bit

I'll be that inactive member who's returning and competing a bit.
Even though it's technically 2015 already, I haven't made any progress towards this next prediction, so I'll go ahead and post it:

I will get to top 125 sitewide (currently 143rd). I will not get to top 100 because I don't play enough games (and I'm not good enough at the ones I do play).
