Being a competitive gamer, I always consider the community that I am a part of to be another family of mine.

I was just wondering if any of you had ever met each other before? If so, who was it, and how did you go about this?

Competition Central / Hey Guys, sad news =/

Yeah, I was about to play some Sonic for the first time in forever, and by accident I went to 'Delete' instead of 'OK'. So now, all my data is gone, I'll probably never compete in SA2B anymore, doubtfully any other sonic game as well. I know not many people care, just thought I'd let those competitors know they never have to worry about me sneaking up on them. I was going to get my Radical Highway back, but I guess that just happened.

I think City Escape can soon go into Freestyle...I'm working right now to see if I can get to a check in time, but I'm not so sure if it'll work or not. Hopefully, it'll get better

I'm going to go through every level in SA2B for ring and score attack even if it kills me. I am the worst at score attack, but hopefully I can get somewhere where I don't get all the way back to 10th place. Then, I just got Sonic Mega Collection, where I might be competing in some other games as well...I want SA2B back...

Makes me wanna plug the game back in and start Hidden Base right now. But then I'd revert to my old Sonic hermit self again and that wasn't very fun. I'm stuck playing Smash and DDR...about to get a PS2 so I can play some SOUL CALIBUR and some DDR. I might consider playing SA2B soon, more or less

It seems that SS101 has topped many of my times by less than half a second. What a bummer. Good thing that I hate SA2B and never want to play it again or else I'd probably be angry. Huzzah

Competition Central / Final Chase = Pwned

Just recently I pwned Final Chase into the ground with a near-perfect time. Perfect is 2'34, and I got 2'35. I'm very proud, and now I'm confident so I'll be putting up a guide, word for word and play for play through the level. I don't have a working computer, so it might be a while.  Just know that you'll know all my secrets soon, cause I've already gotten it written down on paper

Competition Central / Final Rush

Alright, I went through Final Rush, inside and out, looking for the best strategy I could find. I did it, and Final Rush is a very easy to get a perfect run in, and got a perfect run time of 2'45'79. Then I remember the record's 2'33'xx, and 2nd is Cybrax with 2'36'xx

my question is: What's the secret 10 second time saver I'm screwing up on? I had NO mistakes on my 2'45 run, so I'm still clueless as to how 2'33 is possible. Any answers?

It just looks like he used the freestyle time and put it in place of his regular. I doubt that anyone can get sub 1 minute in Cannon's Core without using the permanent time stop glitch. So, uh...yeah

and, turns out, that I accidentally wrote down 51 in the milliseconds because it was my mission 4 time. the actual time I got before 1'58'07 was 2'09'50. I checked right before I beat it

someone set it to 10'59'99 because they thought I lied or something. Why would I lie about an 8th place time? I got it right after I saw Cybrax's 1'53 vid. I'm working on sub 2 minutes.

Just saying, you don't have to believe a thing I say, but just take my word for it. Just like you all do for everyone else. not hard

Competition Central / New Guy

New to this place. It had Sonic on it, and I had heard of Cybrax before. so I joined. I looked at the times, and noticing that just about every one is better than mine, I tried hard. Went on a speed run for all of my sonic/shadow levels. I'm trying to get all my times into the little submission thing, but it might take a while.
