Which is more important is irrelevant. You can't dispute what he's saying is correct

Saying 'everyone' 'has' to do every map skills and no skills is rubbish, I can't be the only one who just likes to do a few maps?? Umbreons argument is sound, however. Keep em seperate, keep the rankings completely seperate, THEN the problem's solved, surely

Well I want to compete on a FEW maps. haven't got time to do everything. does everyone just compete on the game as a whole? in that case you gotta decide on skills or no skills, or both but keep the charts completely seperate so people don't "have" to do everything. If it had to be one or the other I don't think I could decide

No point banning super sonic, I didn't notice any significant benefits and like someone else said, you'd be better off spending points on other skills. We definitely need to have seperate boards for skills and no skills, since they'll make such a difference. There's a list of skills here if anyone's interested: http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/627224-sonic-generations/faqs/63262. Stop debating and make the charts!!!

Hey Ben, I got the full game yesterday, and the demo level is the same as far as I can tell, apart from the fact you have 4 lives, no ghost, and no 'quit' option, which meant having to play it through or die 4 times just to restart the map -_-.
I've got a better LS2 time on the actual game, which I submitted (I figured as soon as i got sub 1:00 I'd submit). I Just started working on LS1, not bad so far. Working out the routes that aren't in the video section is gonna be a huge pain in the ass... Anyone who wants to help, better put - collaborate, then that'd be wicked, though chances are you'd be doing me more favors than I you, as I'm very new to this.

Apologies for the double post but i don't think this question's really worth it's own thread-  Is there any way to turn off your ghost on time attack? I just got a proper copy of rush (it wasn't on the demo) and it makes it laggy, which is hard to get used to. Latest time- 1.00.18 and thumb is caining like a bitch -_-

Amen. I'm still waiting to hear why it sucks. I'll have the whole game in a few days :D

I don't remember asking any questions but hi2u2 Rick. Seems like the "killing people over a forum" has been milked enough here so I think i'll be leaving that shit out.
1.01.06 (edit: 1.00.64) on LS2 demo, I can't get any faster and it's pissing me off. A question to anyone- would playing the whole game through improve your play on specific levels, (even if you'd played said level through like 200 times already)?

well since I essentially killed him first, you will have to find whats left of him after my brutal rampage and chuck your games at him then. Mind, you should probably use groudons collection instead of your own, that'd be a bit more ironic- and a far more fashionable way to die from your own games than those fucking koreans grinding WoW for weeks on end then dying of malnutrition

No,
ass punching
Implies only the most brutal of killings. And if I did it your way he'd probably just end up with a graze on his arm or something, since my game/CD/DVD collection amounts to about 10.
I'd probably do something like flick a joint at his face- burning straight through his eye and into his brain, then when his skull's hollowed out i'd use it as a bong to take a couple of hits, then take his remaining eye and shove it up his ass til he can see his own shit, pummel his stomach until he shits his eye back out, stamp on it, then make him eat it. Then I'd cut up the rest of his body and sell all the parts to corrupt prisons in taiwan, who'd then sell them onto corrupt hospitals in some 3rd world country, who'd then transplant them into UGLY 4th world people with like 13 toes, no teeth, and huge tumors poking out their faces. We've all seem them in the fucked up sections of magazines- that'll be (partly) groudon.

* zcaliber administers an ass punching to Groudon

Cheers for the warm welcome, by the way. Why does rush suck?

Ha ha wicked, well I'll have myself a DS and the game itself sometime this week, so if you fancy some competition I'm down with that, 'cause all my RL friends are fucking useless with video games. I've added you to msn.

You typically don't need to provide proof unless your records are suspicious.  We're a relatively trusting community.  Feel free to record vids or take pictures of your records, of course.

I haven't played Rush in a while now, but it's a great game. Perhaps you're the one who will finally defeat Skylights? :P

Also, be sure to check the rules page before submitting:
http://www.soniccenter.org/rankings/rules

Why don't you beat him? (I'm talking LS2 here because it's the only level I have lol) You're 2 seconds off, I'm 4 (just got 1.01.33 a min ago) Dunno what I could do to gain another 4 seconds, I'm thinking maybe something at the beginning- at the moment I'm doing what crowbar does in his video pretty much from start to finish, I'm sure you can get to super mode or whatever you call it before the first big slope, which he doesn't do on the video. (obviously it is not his best time though)

Cheers. Once I buy sonic rush you'll probably see me whining about how I can't do stuff, anyone playing this at the mo? Feel like I'm a bit late getting into it, but I fuckin love it. Excuse me if the answer is obvious i've not had the time to really delve into the forum/site yet, but one thing I did want to ask was, how do you go about proof of peoples scores?

alright fellas, can't remember how i found this site but I think i'm addicted to watching sonic speed runs. I never did anything mega on the games as a kid but as of late I feel like giving it all a go. It's like racing games but without braking- "go slower" never really settled well with me, that's why i suck ass at em. I don't actually own any consoles at the moment but i'll be buying a DS soon, I borrowed one off a mate and got the sonic rush LS2 demo on DS download a few days ago and managed to get 1.02, won't submit unless I get under a minute tho, and when I've bought it ^^. Don't get the wrong idea, i'm not trying to trample on your turf, I find beating my own times really entertaining and doubt I'll do anything decent by you sonic pro's standards. Nonetheless, I'm hoping to stick around the forums.

Luke
