Thats why I call this a world record. I wish I could tape this sometime I'm doing it on a hand held so it's kind of hard to tape. But 242 is 100% possible I seen it with my own two eyes 3 times.

TAS means tool-assisted speedrun and unless you have an unknown glitch to abuse it's absolutely impossible to be faster than it.
But as you said you play on a hand-held I guess it's just different there. I always thought it'd be the same, but if you can get 242 there it's definitely not the same version.

I'm trying like mad, but I can't get better than 2:12 on this damn map.
Here's what I do:
- hit the switch, run right and then left to the next screen (2:58)
- run to the left, make a non-running jump and jump up to plattforms and leve to the left (2:23)
- run to the left, jump over chest, do a normal jump over the enemy and button stomp the ground after him with it, fall down and run to the left (2:14)
- jump into the whirling thingie (2:12)

Where's my mistake?

We go based on an honors system, really. So long as your times aren't suspicious, your person isn't suspicious, and you say you aren't using savestates or slowdown, we'll believe you.

In other words: happy submitting!

My scores aren't good enough to be suspicious anyway^^
I've submitted some scores for Wario Land 4. What about minigame charts for it?

Gamesharks, similar cheat devices, and ROM save states must not be used, nor any functions on the emulator, such as slowing down the speed of the game. Frankly it doesn't make for much competition.

So that means, I can use an emulator like VirtualNES as long as I can prove I didn't abuse any unfair methods?
If yes, how do I do so?
