Also, BEST COMIC EVER.

I'm certain that you abandoned HootHoot when I used the nick, not that I knew about that. And even if you didn't, I had a better avatar and so deserved the name.

I changed my nick because the fad was sunk by a torpedo. Now presenting in a large bold blue glowing italicized underlined marquee with shadow effect...

Yeah but I fixed it so it works now. I forgot you were supposed to nest tags that modify text color/size inside marquees. But now I remembered.

No new comics yet. :/
But some random drawings. Sorry that they're a bit ugly, but I doodled them at around midnight while lying in bed. >_>

So I guess it's not just me that attachments are disabled?

Anyway not bad for bed doodles. Maybe not as good as the Charmy one.

But the Sonic pic really is neat. That lamp looks like a Pokeball. Cool pic though. And the flies? That's a nice touch. Good work. I already like the stage he's in. Gives me ideas.

Yeah, the lamp looks shit. If I wouldn't have been in bed, I'd have used a ruler for the post. And something better for the lamp itself. >_>

Thanks everyone.

Work in progress. See attachment.
Next I will add a background and then the shading.

Also I have a new idea for a comic, maybe I'll also draw that. :D

You should make a real B/W instruction manual for your hack. The oldschool type with enemy/level art/descriptions and a story at the beginning. and a section with blank lines for notes at the end. X)

I really was planning that. At least if I'll port the hack to Retro Sonic and then to Dreamcast.

Also, new comic.

Hoothoot was RR originally <_<

Also, started off... slow, but it got hilarious as it went on.

Naw, in my opinion it got funny as early as panel 2 (or panel 1 Skylights) and no later than the last panel on the first row.

It stopped being funny when it became about Sonic.

But the scene where you're chasing rings is funny.

Also I think I might have preferred it if panel 2 genus was more solemn/indifferent/informative/jaded. I don't know why but I guess I'm saying it looks like genus isn't serious which makes it less funny.

All in all though, I enjoyed the comic very much. "TSC's fabled 'Hall of Knives'".. lol!

TSC's fabled "Hall of Knives" was actually genus' idea:
Quote
[22:12] <PPAChao> I'm a Canadian spy. >_>
[22:12] <PPAChao> SkyLights uncovered that.
[22:13] <SkyL> lol
[22:13] <genus> Canadian spies have a crippling weakness to being stabbed in the throat by a knife.
[22:14] <PPAChao> ...
[22:14] * PPAChao holds his throat
[22:14] <genus> someone should construct a scale model
[22:14] <genus> using ':P'
[22:16] <PPAChao> genus please don't stab my throat :(
[22:16] <genus> I don't have to
[22:16] <genus> I foresee an accidental death
[22:16] <PPAChao> D:
[22:17] <genus> wherein you make the fatal mistake of skating through TSC's fabled "Hall of Knives"
[22:17] <PPAChao> ...
[22:17] <PPAChao> to be comic'd
[22:17] <genus> and, unable to stop in time, impale yourself on one of the knives in TSC's fabled "Hall of Knives"
[22:18] * PPAChao print log
[22:18] <PPAChao> And ouch
[22:18] <PPAChao> Also since when do we have a hall of knives
[22:18] <genus> yeah, I'm pretty much a modern Cassandra
[22:18] <Sondow> since always
[22:18] <Sondow> it's just hidden
[22:18] <genus> who was a Greek with the ability to see the future, but who would be perpetually dismissed by everyone else
[22:19] <genus> according to Greek mythology anyways
[22:19] <Sondow> hm
[22:19] <Sondow> that's not too surprising... people who can see the future are usually disbelieved by the public
[22:19] <genus> probably because they can't
[22:19] <genus> unless you mean in mythology
[22:20] <Sondow> yeah
[22:20] <genus> in which case yeah, it's more or less a plot device and sets up dramatic irony

Also I WILL STOP DRAWING GENUS AS A HOOTHOOT AS SOON AS I SEE A PIC OF HER D:

And yeah, I had some problems with panel 2 genus' beak. It wasn't intended to look funny. :(

Don't be modest. It may have been her idea but you brought it to life. >_>

Also, I like the idea of genus being a hoothoot even after the pokefad.

Nope. I've thought about this. She's definitely a girl.

New comic: I hate that on TV. :(

I love how egg seems to pay attention to the camera. Then claims he only just noticed it.

That's awesome.

(not to mention the rest of the comic is also funny)
