But for a newb question:

What are my choices for a recording when I can't get one that plugs into my TV and I don't have a video camera. Is there some way that I can plug something into my console, or can I take a picture of the time screen?

You can go ahead and take a picture of either the results screen or a different screen where the time or other stat is saved, but you don't need to unless we call you out. And that'll only happen when you get an unlikely stat, like beating the current time record on a level by a minute (or a frame) without explanation. There's also a BS checking system, but no one knows how that functions except GerbilSoft.
